Oh Happy Day!

Just writing this really fast since my mom is in the other room and we're getting ready to go see WATER FOR ELEPHANTS soon.

I STILL haven't seen this on the big screen. Can you believe it? I hardly can!

Just wanted to throw a little shoutout to all of the moms out there.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Hope everyone is having an amazing day, whether it be spending time with your mom, your children, your pets or yourself. Niether myself nor Demanda have kids, except for these assholes....

The Baby.

Big Fluff.

Yep, they're lazy bastards. They didn't get us anything for Mother's Day except for treasures in the litter box.

Have a great day peeps!!!!

The End of an Era: Fifty Shades of Goodbyes

We have a little story to tell you today. So kick off your shoes, put on your sweats, tell your man to grab his crocks, (we're talkin to you Jenny Jerkface) and relax a bit.

About a year ago, Jaymes finally convinced Demanda to read a little book series. You may have heard of it. It's called Twilight. If you haven't heard of it, you clearly don't live on Planet Earth. If that's the case, email us because we have some questions for you. Anyway, Demanda reluctantly dove in to the books and they sucked her in quickly. She had seen the movies but wasn't a "Twihard". After finishing the books, it was clear she would never be the same.

A while after Demanda finished the books, we discovered Twitarded and a while after that, we took a trip to FORKS. During this time, everyone was talking about a fan fic story called Master of the Universe. Previous to FORKS, we had heard people mention it on twitter but at that time we hadn't checked it out yet. We were fanfic virgins. There was something about reading fanfic that was hard to get into. Maybe it was the fact that it was the same characters but a different story and it's hard to see Bella and Edward and anything other than a regular dullsville teenage girl and a fuckhawt sparkley vampire. But then MotU updated while we were in FORKS and everyone went batshit about it, while we sat back and stated "We haven't read that one yet". We got looks of horror from others and we promptly realized as soon as our plane touched down back in Cali, we knew what we were gonna do. It's time...

.....to read MotU.

To say we devoured this story like a fat kid goes at a candy bar would be an understatement. At first, the whole "red room" wasn't really our cup of tea but the characters, the writing, and the sarcastic email banter between Bella and Edward changed all of that and pretty soon we looked forward to the times when Edward would take Bella into that room and wear "the jeans". It was an amazing piece of writing and made us (and our vaginas) very happy. After every update, we would discuss the chapter and then bitch and groan about how long it would be for another update but it went by in a flash and before we knew it, we were glued to our computers soaking in all that was Fifty Shades.

But sadly, all good things must come to an end. And what an amazing, wild, and kinky ride it's been. The good thing about this is that it's not just the end. This awesome story is now being published so everyone (even non-Twi fans) can enjoy. And believe me, you WILL enjoy because it's THAT good. Of course all of the names and locations will be changed but it will still contain all of the things we love about Bella and Edward through Icy's words.

Through this post, we just want to let Icy know how thankful we are to her for bringing this phenomenal story into our lives. It opened an amazing world to us and again raised our standards of men everywhere. No longer are we just all looking for a 17 year old vampire who loves us unconditionally and is willing to do anything to protect us. We are now also looking for the sweet, sexy, wealthy, and secretly dominating kink of Fifty Shades. Thanks, we will now be single for life. You rocked our world, Icy and we couldn't be more grateful.  Good luck in all of your future endeavours and please, please continue to write!

You can pre-order the first book of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy here.
