Better late than never, it’s last Friday, right?!. This picture is one of the most memorable parts of #FOORKS2010 for me. When driving to Forks from Seattle nothing reminded me of Twilight, nothing. When we finally got to Port Angeles I got excited about the sign but that was short-lived. Then. . . came this shop. It is at an intersection that you must drive past so all the newbies will see it. I about SQUUUEEEEEEEEED right out of my seat when I saw it! I actually had to lock the car doors because Jaymes was about to run out, dodge traffic and start licking the window.
To all of you who went last year, what was your reaction when you reached this part of the drive?

I believe everyone in our car (@micki_martini, @double_dippin, and @justkristin1) did a quadruple squee. But then again, I think we pretty much squee'd every minute from Port Angeles on! :-)
Well. If driving down the main drag in Forks isn't deserving of a squee, I certainly don't know what is! I got excited about every freakin' thing about that trip!
I can't wait until September! We are planning on staying over in Seattle Sunday night & Monday night (because driving all the way from Forks, then flying all the way across the country was a very looooong day last year.) Anybody else planning to check out Seattle after Forks?
I didn't get to Port Angeles last year (pout!). But I did squee, drool, lick, and hump the window of the FORKS Dazzled by Twilight! Oh, the groping...Oh the moaning...Oh the memories!
I can't wait to be in P.A. for the first time this year!!
I am gonna be droppin' a whole lotta cash there come August!
@Heather - to be fair, I think we were even squeeing in the grocery store in Port Angeles... :) Ah, memories. Can't wait until September!!

I was driving so I don't remember seeing it on our way to Forks. But I did see it when we went to dinner at Bella Italia on another night and then it closed for the night as we walked up to it :( So when we drove back to Seattle, we stopped in.
@rugbymom - we are going to be in Seattle overnight Sunday to Monday (fly home on Monday) but I don't know our plans at all yet. Last year we got to Seattle too late to see anything and I know this year we are going to try to get in earlier on the Wednesday before to maybe see some things and hang with our Twitards.
This excites me!!! I probably will run up and lick the window.
How many weeks??
