Harry Potter and the Creepies

It's Saturday and I know we've had alllllll day to blog but somehow, out of nowhere 10:45pm rolled around and nothing was posted yet. That's because Demanda went to the Cal Poly vs. UC Davis football game and I stayed home to watch Cedric Diggory Harry Potter.

Shit, I thought this was supposed to be the main character!

Anyway, I read all of the Harry Potter books way back when... a few times actually. And I've seen all of the movies except for whatever the last one on DVD was... Half Blooded Prince? I can't remember. But I loved them. So you can imagine my excitement when I was informed today by Charla via Twitter that there was a marathon on ABC Family. Because I had to clean, do laundry, grocery shop, blog, write my NaNoWriMo novel, catch up on TiVo'ed shows nothing else to do, I decided to watch. As I got sucked into these movies I hadn't seen in quite some time, I started to realize something. Maybe it's just me...but has anyone else noticed that for a Young Adult series, Harry Potter quite the creepfest? Let's review.

Um yeah, I hear women say that some guys act like they are two different people...this is a whole other level.

I think this snake was called a ballsak. No thanks.

A boggart turned into one of these. Nothing creepier than a clown springing out of a box at you at full speed.

Are you F'ing kidding me?!?!!?

K so I thought mermaids were supposed to have major sex appeal...

Daryl Hannah got it right.

Harry Potter proved me wrong.

This bitch is craaaaaaaazy!

Last and most importantly, we have the main villain of Harry Potter.

Lord Voldemort must have some major breathing problems.

That's all I'm going to post and not because I'm running out of creepy Harry Potter characters but it's because frankly I'm scaring the shit out of myself and I have to go to bed soon. Yes, I really am that much of a little bitch. I'm sorry if you haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies, I hope I didn't ruin it for you. There are a lot of good things about these movies/books!

Cedric Diggory. Need I say more? Didn't think so.

Hahaha! I love this post! Back in the day, I refused to watch Harry Potter because I thought it was a bunch of "childish wizard shit". My husband kept insisting that they were good, despite the fact that they were "children's" movies. So he went out, bought them all, we had a marathon (this was before Order of the Phoenix was out in theaters) and I was freakin hooked! I couldn't believe I'd not been watching them! I went out and bought the books, and the rest is history. I blame my husband for this obsession. He started it. ;)

And FUUUCK me, Cedric Diggory!

I love, love, love, HP.

I watched a series of the older movies on the big screen and when Cedric, you know, you know (don't want to spoil it for others) the entire theater laughed, whooped and hollered. I guess those folks REALLY aren't fans of Rob.

I totally forgot about this post! Watching HP right now and some scary part came up that reminded me of this. :)
